How we’re keeping our community safe 150 150 Michael

As coronavirus restrictions start to ease across the country, Viridian is taking steps to ensure that your safety is our top priority during our return to the office. We wanted to let you know about some of the steps and precautions you can expect, and why we are putting them in place.

Please note, as each state and territory will have its own individual regulations around what constitutes a safe return for businesses, each office may be able to welcome you back at different times and individual procedures may vary from office to office. If you have any queries about what to expect at a specific Viridian location, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your advisor.

What to expect at our offices

We are looking forward to welcoming you back at our offices. You can expect the same Viridian hospitality – with some additional measures to keep you safe.

When we set up your meeting or before you arrive, you may receive a phone call from a member of our team. In the interests of the safety of our Viridian family – staff and clients – we will take this opportunity to ask you some quick screening questions to ensure that you can visit us safely and comfortably. If you have any queries about your visit, or would like clarification around any of these measures, we invite you to discuss these at the time. Please don’t hesitate to voice any concerns you may have – we’re here to help.

Safety and hygiene while you’re with us

Your meeting room will be supplied with hospital-grade sanitation equipment, including antiviral wipes. Each room will be thoroughly cleaned in between meetings, including equipment such as keyboards, mouses and audio-visual devices. To ensure your safety you may be offered water, tea or coffee in disposable containers.

When you visit, you may not see as many faces as you are used to. That’s because we have implemented a cap on the number of our team members who can be present on-site at any one time. While many of our team continue to work remotely, you can still expect the same, high level of service – a level we’re proud to have provided consistently, despite the challenges of social distancing. We have also put new systems in place to ensure that common areas are rigorously maintained, including the reception area.

Sign-in and reporting procedures

At times like these, it’s important to know who has attended our facilities, should the need arise to be in contact. For this reason, everyone who enters our offices, including our own staff, will be required to register their attendance. This means there will be some extra steps for sign-in upon arrival.  We greatly appreciate your patience and co-operation in complying with these steps. You are assisting us to keep everybody safe.

We’ll adapt to any changes

Of course, we can’t predict with certainty how the next few months will play out. Regulations may change, either on a state or federal level – or both. We will continue to be guided by the relevant laws and guidelines, and will adjust our procedures if we need to in order to ensure your safety.

Finally, thank you – we are very grateful for your co-operation and flexibility as we navigate this new stage. As always, if you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak to your advisor.
