Brett Arnol, Co-founder and GM of Advice

Appointed as the General Manager of Advice (Viridian Advisory) in 2022. Brett’s career in the industry spans over two decades, establishing himself as a highly successful Senior Financial Advisor at Westpac before co-founding the Viridian Financial Group in 2015. As GM of Advice, Brett oversees the strategic direction of Viridian Advisory, which represents the most significant section of the Viridian Group with over 260 employees and over $7bn funds under management.

The growing Advice network includes 150 advisors across Australia, of which 100 are directly employed by Viridian Financial Group and are united in purpose to help clients live the life they choose. This far-reaching network gives Viridian clients access to specialists across all areas of advice and ensures Viridian Advisory continues to champion more advice for more Australians.

What motivates Brett in his role as General Manager of Advice?

To have more clients, seek more advice, from more Viridian Advisors. We aim to help our clients become financially organised by project managing their plans for life. In other words, we want to help Australians live the life they choose.

Our mission includes providing a community for advisors who take their profession seriously and evolve into the best version of themselves. We aim to give back as much as possible to the industry and run a comprehensive Professional Year (PY) program, with the current junior employees progressing through the program.

Outside of Viridian?

I love to cook and coach (rarely at the same time) my son’s soccer & football teams. While I’m a long-suffering supporter of the St Kilda’s football club. Personally, the birth of my two children, Monty and Audrey are my greatest achievements.
